Where am i going wrong??

Huh!!!!!!! All the motivation and excitement was botched after i saw a '30' in verbal..... Could you believe this? I have just broken all bounds and have touched a score which is just equal to the very first Kaplan that i gave... Given that ETS -1 had most of its questions from OG 11, i am just speechless about my preparations... :(

The statistics were as seen below:

The probable reason, i guess for such a pathetic verbal score could be that i did 4 wrong in the top 10, inlcuding question 2 & 3.... And to supplement to this debacle, i again did 12 & 13 wrong... Though the accuracy improved after question 13, it was too late and i was already stamped a score in the lower 30s...

Yes, i know that i should keep my cool...
Yes, i know that i shouldnt get frustrated....
Yes, i know that i should be more positive...
Yes, i know that i have some more days to go...
Yes, i know that i have done all the hard work...

The only thing i dont know is - Where am i going wrong????
The least i deserve is 700!!!!

dont panic.. Kaplan is misleading ! Its a test of your ego more than the GMAT.. Keep kool. And Boy ! its a feat to write two tests a day. It is !! I cant write 1 a day seriously.

:):) Thanks a lot inblue... The thing that is bothering me is my verbal 30 in ETS Powerprep 1... It was only in Kaplan -1 that i had scored so miserably... And ya, i too felt i was overdoing things a bit when i was about to start the second test.. And seriously, i pledge of not doing it ever... :)

you know waht belive me ! it HAPPENS ! GMAT verbal is a FEAT in itself. i lost my interest in the verbal section on my last test in just 25 question ! Man !that's just hal fway through it. The thing is keep your cool ( I am going to do that tom on my second test ). A Bad passage or SC or even a strange CR might knock you down.
Keep the spirit high

Seems like i've dropped in at the right time. I have a small strategy that i used, which can help u.

I was pretty much like u, getting freaked up during GMAT Verbals. Long time since i've concentrated on a single thing for 2 hrs continuously and i dont have a liking to sitting in the same place for that long as well :)

Okie - here it is. I used to take small breaks whenever i feel it boiling within. Small 1 or 2 minute breaks, by the end of which i'd feel like "Cmon now!!!". Try that :)
